Just finished drawing at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. Actual temperature(including humidity, blacktop, lingerers, idiots, etc.): 120 degrees underthe EZ-up. First time ever drawing in a Midway situation, it's just onemore thing after another. ID + official "Mighty Bluegrass Show" polo t-shirt+ baseball cap uniform = $80.00. . .Later, just before the "Big Weekend", Uncle Bluegrass demanded a $500.00tip from my boy, Marso (handler).We were wondering if we were going to get hazed into an endless carnivaltour with no memory of our former lives whatsoever. Managed to squeeze some$$ out of the heat-stroked herd, and worked on a new kick-ass "American Heroes"caricature series. Keep an eye on the Caricature of the Daylink.
